I have a load of audi based jobs to do tomorrow and this one fills me with dread:puke2:

FWD? Not too bad. Loosen big nut, take wheel off, remove caliper, remove carrier (tight nuts!), remove disc. The bearings will drop out but you need to get the races out too. Get a flathead screwdriver and carefully tap around the edges with a hammer until they come out. Hammer new races into place, fill with grease, put bearings in, refit disc, job done.

brillant thanks mate! Calipers getting changed so its coming off anyway.

if you put the races in the freezer first they will go on easier,
