How does the Diverter valve work.

I know what it does, but with my forge split r it was obvious how it worked with pistons and such, im changing it over to a dv30 today and there is no pistons in it. does anyone have a diagram of the internals on how these things are put together. I genraly don't like to fit things unless i have an understanding of how they operate, how does it close off the boost etc?


Also worried ill fit it the wrong way round.

The DV30 is a piston type valve, rather than the standard diaphram type, and can cope with any boost pressure likely to be found on an S4

oh dear, im sure i could move the piston in my forge but the baileys doesnt seem to do this.
