How do you ground pin 1?

    I got clocks out and see where to gnd it but how do i wire from pin 1???????

    I need something to put in there the plug to make a connection.

    In the end I bought a wire from Audi. Part number. 000 979 009 E

    Scotch lock would suffice, two wires crimped on same connecting pin?

    all I did was pull the plug apart its easy enough insert a bared bit of wire into pin 1 slide the cover over to keep the wire in place and bare the other end and put it on a bolt to ground it job done

    on every B6 i have done theres never been a wire in pin 1

    B7 has it

    to stop the washer warning comeing on the dash

    You can't scotch lock into a wire that does exist. this is a DIS retrofit and required a new ground wire to pin 1 of the 32 pin connector (grey one I'm guessing)
