Does anyone know how to remove these things (I don't know what they are called) from the front driver and passenger windows? Also has whoever fitted them had to remove a seal to put them in? Just wondering if there will be a gap if i remove them...

    Any help greatly appreciated

If you look up in the channel there should be two u shaped metal clips on each one. Pop them out with a long screwdriver wrapped in a cloth and then pull then out. They may have double sided tape on but will pull out eventually. What are you doing with them?

They're gone. Snapped a bit off during removal so they're in the bin. Apparently they were only about 30 quid anyway... Hey ho...

Glad I'm not the only one who's not a fan of wind deflectors on German cars, look ok on some Jap cars and boy racer look first cars though.

Gotta admit, I'm not an ultimate fan either. Think they look good on a 3 door golf though.

They're not necessary on air-conditioned cars. I had them on a MK 3 Cavalier V6 back in the day. Not only did they look good, they allowed me to drive at motorway speeds with the windows open, with no draughts. I wouldn't have them now, because I have no use for them.

Im glad to see the back of them. They caused a lot of noise on motorway runs and they didnt do anything to enhance the look of the car.
