following on from a previous thread i started bout my windows getting smashed, i have now had the window repaired but the RAC fella didnt removes all the broken bits of glass at the bottom of the door so everytime i close the door u can hear all the glass rattling round which is rather annoying so any1 got any idea how to take the doorcard off?

also while the rac fella was fixing the window he has broke the lock so the door cant be opened from the inside...again does any1 know whether this is a quick fix or is it best phoning him up to come back and fix it?

    cheers guys

He's just forgotten to reconnect the door release cable. It's easily done.
To remove the doorcard prise off the trim panel, start nearest the hinge as it's hooked into the panel at the other end.
Remove all the screws shown below. Then you need to prise the panel off as its held on with pop fasteners. These are designed to break off so you'll need to get a handful of new ones from dealer (18p each). You'll see the cable and where it needs to be reconnected. The glass problem is a real pain as the door has a double skin so you can't get to the inside of it easily, even with the panel removed. Remove the speaker and shove the hose from a good vacuum cleaner in there.

You should be able to use just your fingers to pull it away from the door, just start at the bottom corner or I seem to remember the bottom middle allows you to get a grip on it. It is quite stubborn as it has quite a few pop fasteners holding it.
