How’s your B&O Subwoofer?

Does your subwoofer make a crazy rattling sound across all volumes increasing with intensity as the volume increases?

I’ve had three visits to the dealership and they are now saying it’s a characteristic. Audi UK were completely useless and just asked me to create a case with the vehicle ombudsmen.

I’m just wondering if it really is a ‘characteristic’?

I’m finding the interior build quality to be really disappointing...

I have the normal Audi Sound System, and the subwoofer in the centre of the dash was rattling in a similar manner to the way you describe

Audi Oldham in Greater Manchester happily replaced the speaker and grille for me under warranty, and also the door card and speaker as they were rattling too. After the fix, all is silent (except for the music).

Have you tried a different dealer? Some are better than others.

Sorry to correct you but a subwoofer is always mounted in the boot area, do you not mean the centre speaker?

Quite possibly. I assumed that was the subwoofer

I did some research and in the convertible, the subwoofer is mounted in the rear passenger side door pocket (instead of the pocket).
