Hockey Puck Pipe

Hello lady's and gents

Looking for some advice do you need to use fuel + oil pipe from the hockey puck to the tip. Or can I just use standard silicone pipe as it's only 8 to 10 inches long.

Silicon will be fine... they all degrade over time... may as well have it looking good while thats happening ;P
