Hissing noise when locking??!?!

Hi guys, this is my first post and its a problem!

When i go to lock the car with the remote on my 02 s3, there is a hissing noise that seems to have come from the door handle. It only lasts about 5 seconds and then goes off. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how is it fixed?

The central locking is controlled using air. Blow to open, suck to lock.

What you could be hearing is escaping air due to a hole in the pipe to the lock.
Does it still open/close ok but maybe take a little longer than the other door?
As to how to fix it, it all depends where the leak is /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It sounds as though its coming from the door handle itself. How hard is it to get to the pipe?
