Thought I would get myself on here as I have got my self a B7 A4 PD170 quattro avant, Sline.
I frequent a few other VAG forums but his seems the best for audi only stuff.
Been into cars for a long time, Previous car history
1984 Ford escort 1.3! only had 4 gears and used to rag it from Germany to Calais, Dover to Perth twice a month at 90mph!
1996 Ford Escort 1600! bought new tax free in germany.
2000 Golf V6 4motion, owned for 10 years had done every sensible mod available on it, handling/brakes/exhaust mostly (too much to list) and I cried when I sold it!
1985 VW Polo saloon 1litre. Cracking minted £200 car! should have kept hold of it.
2003 B6 PD130 quattro sport avant.
1990 modified Mk2 golf GTD still have this, second time i have owned this car and never selling it again, lol!
Had the B7 a few months now and just been sorting it out, new arch liners, cleaning it up a bit, serviced ect Wheels were pretty knocked about so I bought 5 brand new DTM wheels to replace them. The old wheels will be tidied up and have winter tyres fitted.
It was missing the engine undertray and having previously had a B6 audi that I went though 3 undertrays (scottish snow!).
so this time I bought a metal one made by Evolution Thor Skid Plate For Audi A4 & Audi A6 Still to fit this but its going on next week.
Future plans are to fit brembo 4pot callipers, new thread will be started for that and do something with the suspension/handling next year. (and thats it honest gov!)
