    Hi All,

just stumbled accross this great forum /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
i've been reading the audi A4/A3 sections with great interest.

    a little bit about myself:
i'm 27 years old and live in West Yorkshire, work for a large telecoms/broadcast company as a Digital Radio Specialist...
i used to own an A4, silver with full Reiger bodykit and 17" alloys, was a very nice car, but needed some money so had to sell it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif

anyway, now that things are sorted i'm looking to buy an A3, and i'm interested in any bodykits for it or even S3 parts/body panels that may fit it.

i have also got some obdII/iso9141 leads and vag software and have been using it on my old mans VW Sharan, just to play about with.

i'm sure i'll learn lots of new stuff from these forums and would like to thank you all for all the info on here.

    Cheers
    Ummy

    Welcome to the Boards....enjoy.

Personally I wouldn't go for the whole A3 into S3 modification, and would look instead of just buying an S3 from the word go. It is not just the exterior that's different, 210 or 225hp engines for a start, wider front track arms, interior plastics and quality along with those lovely recaro seats....and most importantly the Quattro aspect, which you don't get in the UK on any other petrol A3 variant. The parts for the S3 are hellishly expensive so overall you'd be loosing a big whack of money, and reducing your resale possibilities something drastic.

My choice is the S3, if not that then the A3T Sport chipped to perfection and dropped on some Eibachs.

Let us know your thoughts and what you decide on.
