Hi All, Just bought TT 225

Hi every one, site looks great by the way,

Just a few quick questions just bought a 225 TT and noticed a previous post on chocolate water pumps, when is the belt due for renewal and how much are the uprated water pumps?

Also is there any thing else i should be aware of? i'd rather get it changed now before it goes wrong!

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hello!

People usually get the cambelt and tensioners changed when they replace the water pump, total cost of all 3 is around £320 - 370.

What is the typical mileage from a full tank? sounds like a really silly question i know but is there any way of increasing fuel economy? i don't drive it fast but it seems to be drinking juice already!
Only had it 2 days!

Driving around town I reckon you'll get around 250 miles to a full tank..... the 1.8T 225 hates sitting in traffic!

Yes i agree saying that I fill my tt up in gibraltar and it costs me 20 quid lol shame all u tax payers in england lol still i miss newcastle !
