hi all, any1 know bout lpg???

just bought my self a nice a4 1.8t with an lpg system fitted /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/groovy.gif
only prob is it does not work v well, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif
has any1 got any advice on where to go who to see?
the car will run fine on both fuel types but after a while it just starts to run naff on petrol very lumpy and stalls if i disconect the batt it seems to reset the fault and it is ok, but only for about 60 miles or so,
any help will begreatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Depending on who did the installation there should be a label giving a system description stuck somewhere around the main installation area, if not then try the following;

I would suggest looking on the system and trying to establish the manufacturer of the parts, IMPCO, Nikki, Fischer or the like. What you could then do is give the manufacturer or the UK supplier a call and they should be able to point you towards a recognised Automotive LPG installer.

If you can't find anything then maybe try giving HKL gaspower a call who will probably be able to point you in the right direction, I've dealt with them many times for lift trucks, which is basically the same as cars.
