Hey, i have got 1.9 tdi audi, i have the normal 17" rims on it at the moment
i am not in a position to lower the car due to cost on insurance etc
so i was wondering if i got 18" rims with a lower profile tyre will the car sit ok still and not look to high etc? as i banged 17"s on fiesta witch has 15" wheels and it jacked right up so i had to lower it but the insurance an my a3 is a hell of alot more than my fez

i have put some pics below to show how it sits at the moment, as i dont want 18"s on if itll sit to hight, i try get some nice 17"' instead. thanks

As someone has told you previously, wheels will also affect your insurance.

18s should look fine. The rolling radius I think is only 4mm more. That reminds me, you'll probably have to get them coded so your speedo is accurate

evey car i have had, insuranceas never increased,
ive had to fiesta 15" to 17" with no increase, it only went up when i lowered it 45mil
