Help with rattel when on tick over

Hi was just wondering if someone might know I have a slight rattel if I rev the car in neutral. so I rev it and as the revs drop down got like a rattel it so annoying but does not do it on tick over on 1.8T 53reg.

I have a similar problem with 02 1.8T. On mine the alternator pulley is siezed solid. This is causing the tensioner to
Bounce around like crazy, Resulting in a rattle.
I would look at that, if it is that and it's left, it will destroy the tensioner and belt.

Where abouts is the exhaust shield is it under the car or by the manifold

Not sure mate. Probably need to get under car and see if u can locate the rattle
