HELP WITH PART NUMBER FOR AUDI A3/S3 IGNITERS/BALLAST. Please

    Please, can anyone help me get the part number for a pair of igniters/ballast for this Audi s3 or an a3 black edition.
    Also if possible a pair of bulbs. Any help would be appreciated as the Stealers wont divulge it to me.
    The headlights would look like the one on the picture below.

    What model year is it (not reg year) ? I am guessing it's 2009.

    That number you quoted is not a proper Audi number. Can you confirm from inside the service book that you have a PR-AV0 listed.

    hi mate the ignitors are 8k0 941 597e and the bulbs are n107 218 01 :)

    I've got 8K0 941 597 C for the ignitors. Agree with the bulb number.

    Ignitors are £200 each and the bulbs £145

    Audi dealer quoted 8k0 941 597c but i dont know if that applies to all the facelift models to 2011.
    im not too sure if the bulbs are D2s or D3s bulbs.

    would thse nummbers apply to the facelift models from late 2008 onwards??

    I thought you said the stealers would not divulge the information ???!!!

    2008,9 and 10 are the same

    and the bulbs are d3s and apply to all facellift s3's i.e 2009 onwards

    Not in my ETKA it doesn't !

    C still applies to 2012 in update 896 !

    your correct it doesn't but on my parts ordering system it says that it has changed part number! :)

    thanks to you all with a sudden burst of response.
    now i know where i stand.
    someone is tring to get me a brand new headlight minus the
    igniters and the Bulbs.

    but, regardsless of all these changes in part numbers, all these parts are interchangable.
    it looks like the same thing but change of initials.

    I think they will be essentially the same and therefore should be ok.

    apparently there are no shortage of cheap bulbs on the net and i dont mean no-name bulbs.
    im talking of osram and phillips E.T.C.

    Shady... just get yourself some nice D3S bulbs off ebay for a fraction of the price of the dealers, i have some D1S from ebay on mine and had no issues at all
    these guys are very reliable with their stuff and have previously given us (audi-sport) a nice forum discount in the past

    i have made some progress.
    so far i have obtained LHD lights, the above igniters, bulb holders, but yet to get the bulbs.
