Hi, I have just brought a A3 1.8t 1998, I have installed a new HU but I am having a few problem (metal block).
1, the HU doesn't hold it memory.
2, the rear speaker don't work, which ISO/Harness do I need to get.
I Don't think it the Bose model as there is no Bose marking anywhere.

    Thanks

if the back of the headunit has RCA outs(red and white round sockets) then you'll need the PC9-404 cable, otherwise the PC9-401 cable will do.

In order to get the headunit to hold its memory you need to switch the red and yellow wires on the iso cable that came with the HU you currently have. Basically you split the red and yellow wire at the metal joint and then put half of the yellow into the other half of the red and then vice versa.

Should end up looking like this:

Hi again, I think i have blown the inbuilt amp in my car stereo. but the RCA output works, is it possible to cut the speaker wires and put on RCA plug and wire straight in to HU.
    Many thanks again.
