Help with induction kit please

    Ive just bought a k&n filter off a friend as was going to buy an ebay cai later on in the month. I decided im impatient and i put the cone on, it fits fine but the amplifier that is attached too the original air box, i have take out the air box and is sort of dangerling in the bay, is this ok for time being as cant see anywhere for it too go? thankyou.

    Im guessing yours is an AGU?

    When i had the cone on, i mounted it to the nearest plastic box and cable tied it up and worked fine.
    Ideally you would want to mount it to metal like the body as the amplifier/module acts as a heat sink.

    just leave the bottom half of the airbox in? that way you get the cold feed aswell

    I bolted mine to the bulkhead on my MK4 GTI 1.8t
