Help Suspension!

My Suspension has started banging when ever I go over a bump in the road. When I had a look today the side that is banging (drivers) has dropped 2" so the top of the arch is almost on the wheel.

Obviously something has gone on the front suspension, but what?

spring broke, dow drive it!!!! happened to mine few days ago, so have now fitted H&R's.....

You were 100% correct. The spring had snapped in half. I can't believe I have driven the car for 2 days with it like it. Anyway it is with Audi now getting sorted under warrenty.
