hi really need someones help . i have an audi 2006 tfsi 3 door , i'm getting code 00655 (passenger side seat belt igniter) on my scanner tool , however it will not delete. i have spoken to steve at c&R of nottingham and he suggests replacing the passenger front seat belt unit. i've tried every where to get a second hand unit but no on seems to have one available that hasn't been triggered. i cant currently afford a new one £220 due to the time of year . so until i can, could some one in the EAST MIDLANDS area please turn the passenger one off only, so i still have some of my air bag system active in the intrim . obviously ill pay you for your service.

    many thanks rob 07854298907

Does it log any crash data or its just faulty, cause even if its changed out, the airbag module will show crash data potentially, if no crash then a swap out & clear fault should resolve.

thanks sandra. NHN ive only got a basic code reader plug in tool , so not sure about crash data. it is however the only fault coming up so i would expect more if it was a crash symptom. hopefully ill be lucky

Check the wiring to the seat belt clip, under seat, on the b pillar hidden behind some trims, may have come loose.

hi NHN , CHECKED THE WIRING ON THE SEAT BELT IGNITER BY DISCONNECTING AND RECONNECTING. THERE IS NO WIRING TO THE SEAT BELT CLIP ON THE PASSENGER SIDE(ONLY DRIVERS SIDE) WIRING ONLY GOES TO THE AIRBAG. CHECKED THAT THAT IS CORRECT TOO. THANKS

    No need to shout fella.

Then certainly a more detailed log is required with vcds, Voorhees is in Coventry, maybe a little far.
