Help Please - Car Coughing

Hi All

I have noticed recently that my car seems to cough!! Its like the aircon kicks in but it isnt switched on... Any ideas? Also my aircon stinks and I have heard that there is a spray I can use to combat this, has anyone else?

Might want to post this to the 8L forum - this one is for the newer 8P model. Other than that, sorry I can't really help - do you run your aircon regularly? If not, sounds like you have some bacteria or fungus or something in there that's causing the smell, but I'm not sure how you'd get rid of it. Errrr, that's all I can say, sorry...

The smelly aircon can be cured, Audi stick a "bomb" (I think it fumeagates it) in the aircon which kills all the bugs.
