help!! no boost :(

    helloo all

    im in need of abit of help please. my alternator went on my car today, so i went a got a new one put it on but before i put it on i was driving myt car to euro car parts and i had no boost at all,
    which at the time i thought it was down to alternator been deadaswell as battery so i put a new battery and alternator on car and no theres no boost, and a loud whistle started to come from turbo so ive check all pipes and cant find and leaks and on fault codes stored on ecu ?


    can any one help pleaseee

    car is a s3 2000 apy:(

    Charge pipe connections adrift is what i would be looking at

    i will check agen tomozz its idleing perfect but just no boost

    checked all boost pipes and they are all on ....any help ?

    check for boost leaks,what is you location ? there is threads on doing so somewhere?

    Have you got an aftermarket DV? I had a baileys DV that stuck open giving your symptoms...

    i have got a ebay recirculating dump valve..... do u thinki could block the pipe on the turbo pipe and seeif that works .
    ive got a felling it could be the turbo :(
    im inbirmingham mate ..

    You say you can hear the turbo spooling?
    I would take the actuator pipe off, and drive carfully to see if that gives boost...
    Other than that you need it on vagcom or similar, to see what is going on...

    i think im going to try that tomorrow, ive got the trial vag com so can do a few checks, but i will let u know anythings go tomozz

    ive tried taking the pipe off actuator and still no boost i think the turbo is no good time for hybrid i think lol :)

    Take the tip off and see/feel if the turbo is free?

    took the tip of the turbvo today and the blades was hard to move but it did move,, i think the turbo as gone :(
