Help needed with DIS - pixels

A problem has occurred with my dis, where when it's hot the display fades but when it's cool it's fine. I see this was a problem on B5's, but I have this problem on my B7.

Is there a recommended repairer in the UK?

Easy fix myself to do?

Mine does it too, I'm going to leave it until it completely fails. Below is a DIY

Hi

I new to this forum so don't be too harsh , ok I have a problem with my 04 plate audi a3 1.6 sport the DIS will only show the outside temp I have the stalk but it does absolutely nothing. I've tried pressing the reset button fast and it doesn't do anything I can scroll through the engine checks but that's all.it just goes back to the outside temp I have attached a picture.

Any help would be nice lol.
