Help needed! Pioneer head unit s3 8p

hi guys,

Got a pioneer double din touchscreen head unit. It has got an off button but you have to them turn the display off after as it has a "screensaver". When I wired it, the power could only come from 2 possible terminals which are linked anyway (red cable) So I wired it to that.

Blue wired to blue for the amp

The battery has died on the car, wondering if it could be if the screensaver was potentially left on?

Or wired wrong?

Any help on the power wiring or advice would be fantastic.

Wired wrong probably.
I have a Pioneer AVH-X3500DAB and my A3 has BOSE fitted. Needed to get a adapter for the wiring, then change
2 connections round and also take open to switched live, a bit fiddly but works fine now, so i would
re check your connections.

Typical halfords had sold the wrong wiring harness in the end. Got on to dynamic sounds and they put me in the right direction. Spot on since!
