Help need with a4 2.5 tdi diesel pump problem

Hi guys

i have 2005 2.5 v6 tdi i have just fitted new recon diesel pump , pump has been fitted and i got auto electrician to code pump but if i honest not 100% sure he had done this before, the pump has full fuel line going in but nothing going to injectors, any ideas i am at my wits end spent 850 on recon pump and no diesel coming out


any help would be godsend

Where about's are you ? Do you have vcds/vag com ? Any codes in the stored in the ecu memory ?

Did your auto electrician been able to read the pin code for the immobilizer ? You cannot do much without that...

Yes got the immob code but not sure he coded correctly as was his first audi

Is the immo light or coil light flashing on the dash ? You need the codes read off the engine control unit...

When this happened to mine several years ago, two VAG specialists couldn't code the new pump to the ECU, in the end the car had to get flat-bedded to Audi and sit on their computer to get recoded...

I hope this isn't the same for you, but if it is brace yourself for a hefty price-tag...

they weren't much of a specialist to be honest...
