Help keys won't synchronize

as above ive had to replace the central locking motor on my s3 from an r reg a4 p/n 8l0 862 257 g and i cant get either 2 of my remote keys to work the central locking. i know how to syncronise them but it wont, mike

Have you looked in the manual? I am sure there is info on the procedure for syncing keys... I had to do this once when one of my keys stopped working but I cannot remember off hand what I did...

yes i've looked, i know the procedure but the central locking motor doesnt recognise that im pressing the buttons

is this just one motor not working or all as you you shouldnt have to re sync unless its a 2000+ model, can bus system,possible probs could be motor not suited to your car ,or a blown fuse cheers Ian
