HELP how do you tighten the timing belt tensinor

When I start my car there is a whinning noise for a brif second I think taht it is my
timing belt tensinor is this a D I Y job and if so could somone tell me how to tighten it or replace it.

Any help much appricated.
 
if you have to tighten your timing belt your in trouble. you dont tighten timing belts they stay tight untill they need changed. the noise can be a number of things so you best get it checked if you dont know how to do it yourself..
 
Mines been doing this for months when its damp its the accessory belt on mine or the tensioner. It goes away once the moisture has dried up. Iv seen a spray in some motor factors thats supposed to cure this but havn't got round to trying it yet.
