Just been over to look at the s3 im ment to be buying, im shocked how bad it is. The car is one owner from new and he is about 65, very nice guy, just cant drive to save his life. Front corner bumper and wing scuffed, needs spraying, door at the bottom near plastic strip looks like its been bumped slightly, bonnet needs spraying as he has tryed to spray stone chips himself doh! and a few scratches near boot lock but not to bad. Inside is clean and tidy though. So one owner from new, 103k full service history, only part audi mostly his local garage that looked ok, got him down to £4650. Be Honest please do you think this is a good price with all the work it needs doing.
Any advice please thanks Greg.
buying an s3 tomorrow:icon_thumright:
Hey mate, i would say that is a good price for an S3, but too much for the work you got to do and the mileage on it.
For a little bit more money, you can get one, that you wont have to do anything on, it may have the same sort of mileage on it, but will alot less hassle.
I believe sitrials is selling his, which may be of interest to you, and is a lovely looking car.
You might want to send him a PM to get into discussion with him, its the same sort of price, without all the hassle....
Hope that helps mate.
Heres a link to it:
Cheers nilz18t for the advice. Well I decided to buy it and spent two hours cleaning the inside today as it was that dirty and dont think he had ever put a hoover on it, I have never seen so much fluff and grass between the seats. I gave the seats a good clean with Maguires leather care, its come up nice and tidy, looks and smells like a new car inside, just got to sort out the bodywork now. Anyway it drives well and im happy with it and once im finished with it, it will look how an s3 should look:icon_thumright:
