Help ! Audi 80 problems

    So I'm stuck ! I don't have a sport but I have an Audi 80 1985 1.8 model ! She's been running like a dream until now ! I am getting the juddering feeling almost like I'm about to stall when slowing down .. it also is now dying at low revs however starts completely fine. I have noticed my temperature gage does not work but this has been the same for a few months .. I really would love any help anyone could give me as to what the problem could be ? Much appreciated :)

    When was Fuel filter last changed, is it a carb model or fuel injection

    Its a carb unsure would this be worth changing ?

    might be the rubberseal between carb and manifold leaking, is it a Pierburg carb
