    hi guys

my 2001 audi a3 1.8t sport engine misfires, using more fuel, sometimes drips water from exhaust when idling and revs go from 2000rpm to 500rpm followed by engine cutting out. noticed lots muck on oil top up cap. when driving the car intermittant looses power.
once maf sensor disconnected car runs o.k.
have always had car serviced any advise before i take it to garage would be appreciated.

    thanks

Bosch MAF... normally get them from GSF or ECP... OE are Bosch...
