HELP 19 inch or 18in and lowered

Hi there pretty new to the audi scene am needing some help. Whats better to do put 19s on or 18s and lower it. i would prefer 19s to be honest but i do 20 000 miles a yr so tyres would be a bit to expensive to keep buying i think unless any of u can put me on to someone who can get good 19inch tyres cheep. Otherwise whats the best lowering kit to buy for the a4

19" look pretty but make the ride very harsh and can easily upset the handling

lowering the ride, uprating springs and dampers and using 18" wheels especially with uprated anti-roll bars will dramatically improve the handling and dynamics without ruining the ride quality.
