Hi guys a quick one hopefully!

turned the temp down (digital climate) yesterday in traffic to 21'C after car warmed up (heating working) car cooled down as expected, now if I put the temp up again even up to 'Hi' it still blows cold.

Is there a fuse for the actuator that moves from hot/cold or is something else. Engine temp is fine so I hopefully I can rule out the thermostat.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks and a lil chilly!!

    J

i had the opposite problem, it was permenantly hot unless you set it to "LO", was the temperature flap motor that had failed.

If you enable climate diagnostics (recirc + up) then choose channel "32c" using temp +/- then press recirc again, it will show you if the temperature flap is generating any errors. If its good it should just show 0 or some small number. if its bad it will climb up. Mine was climbing so fast it was getting to 255 and wrapping back to zero, and the display just appeared to be flashing up random numbers!

Sitting at '0' solid not moving, the manual flap selectors for screen/centre and feet all work properly too... whats next, matrix blocked?
