Heater Vent Smell, Solution Anyone?

Lads,

There is a weird smell coming from my heaters, anyone know the cause of this, would I be best changing the filters ect?

Don't know if it does it with the air con on, will have to check that on my dinner

I believe bacteria builds up in the air con system. You could change the pollen filter and also try using something like this...

first job i'd try is a new pollen filter and make sure its all clean in the housing

Mite be worth getting your aircon re gassed. Bout £40 ish. Unless you have something dead under the scuttle panel?

TBH its usually a bacterial smell, so try the comma, if not then audi have a system, basically like a fumigator where they stick aircon on recirc & leave it running for little while to try & clear out the smell/bacteria present.
