Heater Blower not working - help

Hoping someone can help! The lights are all on on the control panel and the speed indicator increases but no blow. Checked the fuse but thats fine. Any ideas?

Blower motor brushes are common faults on A4's and Passats.

Replacements are on ebay for £12.50
