    Hey all,

Does anyone know if the standard seats on the A4 1.8T Quattro Sport (facelift model) have the heating elements fitted as standard? If so, then fitting the controls is all that would be needed to make them work...?

    Cheers

No definately not. They don't even wire it up for heated seats let alone fit the heating elements.
Heated seats are an optional extra pretty much on all Audi's. If you remove one of the seats you'll see the spaces for the different electric looms (heated & full electric). There's nothing there apart from the loom for the lumbar support and the side airbag.

    Okey dokey, cheers Andy.

Odd that the wiring loom does not provide for this as standard though... what happens if someone specifies heated seats? Do they install a different loom from the factory?

    Cheers
