Just had a call of Audi Main Stealers. If you recall I have had my New S3 SB for the best part of 4 weeks now, it's done 1009 miles and the heated seats are still ****! I mean they are not worth the money, and I sent it in to be looked at. The guy on teh phone said this, Hi Sir, we have checked the car and the heated seats are at 34 degrees centigrade on level 6. We also checked it against another new S3 ad it's the same. I said, how do you know, did you put a thermomitor on it? He said no we have software we plug in to test it and it says there's nothing wrong. To which my reply was, I could have told you that! In fact if you looked on the seat there was a print out telling you what temp the module thinks it's at. But did anyone actually sit on the bloody thing and turn it on? Err no sir, I don't think so. Right, so you've had my car all day. And you're sending it back with the same report I sent it in with? And with the same problem. I then put the phone down............................. I can't believe that the tech guys have actually given up doing any engineering at all and completely rely on the computer. I mean what if the temp sensor is calibrated wrong? the computer will think it's working fine. I give up.
