Heated seats gone mad! Drivers door sticky, dropped?

If you have seen my other post read on the saga continues if not here is some history.

I've just bought a 2001 Allroad TDi. It's got some problems.....

The most recent of which is that the drivers side heated seat has gone crazy. I put it on at setting 1 and it burns my legs off.

I presume this is a common fault, can anyone point me at a fix.

It also has a sticky drivers door, I'm guessing that the door has dropped slightly. Can they be shimmed or does the lock have to be adjusted?

Any help and guidance would be appreciated!

Go and see your local dealer as there has been a recall for heated seats...You might get the heating element replaced free of charge. Do it before they burn trough the leather...
