    Hi all,

My girlfriends car unfortunately had the glass smashed on the passenger side. After a while of it flapping about (and scratching the door!) it came off (while she was driving... who knows where!)

So we've got some replacement glass, but I'm unsure about heating connection that is left on the car. The wires on the car have presumably been snapped I think. I don't know whether it is recoverable to connect the wires, or do I need a plug on the end of them, to plug onto the glass part?

Assuming I can use the cables after stripping them back a touch, I don't suppose it matter which is pos+ and which is neg-, as I assume it just passes a current through?

    Thanks.

Your best bet is to strip them back a tad like you said, & use speaker connectors as in small & a slightly bigger one, clip them on to the new mirror glass & it should be fine mate.
