I have a new interior I am installing and the new fronts are heated.
Can anyone tell me what is needed to wire these up? is it just a switched live and earth or do I need more parts?

Cheers

Yep you answered it thats all i did and fed the seats with a nice sized cable to the power inlet.

so if I bought the switches would I need loom as well or is it done in the switch and feed current adjusted to seat?

its easy enough to wire up matey IIRC it loops back to the switch for temp control, without the switch prob just flat out all of the time otherwise

I fitted RS4 seats into my pre-facelift which previously didn't have heated seats.

Much thanks to Mark(Byzan) without which I would have been driving more of a potential fireball than a car.

At this time of year, can't recommend heated leather enough.

I bought a full heated seat loom for £50. Well worth it!!

do you make up the looms for this mate?

:yahoo:

I bought a loom from an S4 being stripped, but I believe Byzan made his own loom (I sold him a spare set of heater controls).

Ahh sorry, thought you had all the gubbins like the switches etc..
