headlights

    can anyone help pls. do the face lift headlights fit the b5 series. i know i'd have to take out the inditactors. or would it be easier just to put the led running lights style ones in for my car that are on the a5. cheers:s4addict:

    the facelift lights can fit the non-faclift models but you need to cut a little bit of the wing im told

    yeah the a5 headlight probably would fit .............. if you got the time money and skill to fit them.

    the headlights are probaly so different it probaly wouldnt be worth the time or money and then may not even look right

    :kissmyrings:i have enough trouble cuttin my nails let alone the car hehehehe. so it maybe better buyin new ones with the running lights. think there bout £150 from essex racing

    the a5 lights are a4 ones with leds in them so there the rite shape. i ment the face lift ones of the b6 a4 mate.:s4addict:

    B6 A4 lights will not fit a B5. Facelift B5 one piece ones will fit with a small mod to the wing and wiring

    there is a company in the states that make S5 lights for the B5 and they look good i think

    Stick with std type one or two piece projectors mate, the DRL type look too fussy IMHO

    and the projectors in pretty much all aftermarket lamps are *****

    even the insurance approved Depo lamps are rubbish.

    billybravo do you know what price they are. they do look good i must say. pitty bout the boot brows being in the way hehe

    Take my advice, and stay away from the "Essex Racing" headlamps!

    Apart from the terrible beam pattern - so much light scatter, they have no facility for transferring the levelling motors from your OEM units.

    A massive downgrade, in my book. I'd go OEM single-piece units, of just freshen up the existing glass items with new ones.

    The In-Pro projector headlights I had in my old A4 where pretty good... better even than the xenons in my S3

    i might just take your advice on essex racing. i've used them for some stuff an been chuff with end result. but not for lights

    i would stay away from Essex Racing full stop dude the guys dont know there arse hole from there ear hole
