hey all.

i did post this via the mobile app, but it didnt seem to appear, so ill try again on a pc.

i have a v reg s4, with one piece headlights.

they are xenons and the mouting areas on the nearside light have broken and the light is loose.

basically i need to know if i can just get another light (xenon or not) and swap over the black plastic on the back of the lights that has the mounting bits on it?

or do i need to find an exact copy and just swap them completely over?

obviously it would be cheaper to just get a standard/non xenon headlight and butcher it...

thanks

if its just the top two tabs, you can buy a repair kit from audi.

But yes, if you wanted to you could swap the casings with a set of normal halogen lamps, however they're a bit of a pig to dismantle!

About £20 I think. Bit dear for a couple of bits of plastic...
