I dropped my car off at this place tonight, so that they can add a darker tint the rear side and rear windows. A neighbour recommended the company, and having seen the job the guy did on my neighbour's car, I have high expectations of a very good result.

I liked the fact that instead of asking me how dark I wanted them to be, the first question he asked me was why I wanted them tinted, and what I hoped to achieve. I explained that aesthetics were less important than function - what I wanted was to reduce the amount of UV light & glare for rear seat occupants - then he recommended the amount of tint (80%) necessary.

It's costing £150 all in, and will be ready to pick up tomorrow afternoon.

Nice, they look like a top firm to actually remove the windows to bake the film on!

You may find that the factory-fit tint already uses up the legally permitted light allowance.
