Have I worked out my MPG wrong?

So im using a free app to monitor my fuel consumption. The car tells me I am averaging 31 mpg since I purchased and reset it. But as I'm putting the data into this app it's giving me a mpg of 4-5. I'll post some pictures so you can see what I mean.



984 miles / 207 gallons = 4.75 MPG.
I don't generally monitor MPG closely. I pretty much fill up once a month on payday. Not too worried but was wondering why the instrument cluster was giving me such a different reading.

I think the gallons may well be litres

OK Will try and adjust and see what I get.

Ok So you you have to enter in litres and it converts it to MPG.
