ABS light coming on intermittently, then more persistently, then complimented by both ABS and brake warning light on all the time. Checked out this site and a few others. ECU error codes give conflicting codes like 'no power to ABS' when you can put a meter on the plug and get 12V of several terminals ?

Suggested fix (after inspecting loom and sensors and having codes cancelled - not) was 'the ABS unit is goosed'. Removed said unit (real fight - probably best left to garage to loosen front wing ?) and sent to above recommended company. Phoned 24 hours later to say it was repairable with less than 150 on the old cc. 48 hours later it was in my hands and given to garage to refit who did so and completely cured all lights. ABS tested on way home and working fine.

Totally satisfied to the point where normally scrooge like self feels humbled and obliged to offer such excessive praise (sniff).

Thankyou to all who contributed to a happy blah blah... (Shut up now Ed.)
