Has anyone else ordered a 1.6TDI?

If only I'd ordered the 2.0TDI I'd be driving around now..............!

I've ordered, well I say ordered a 1.6TDI but I've ordered a sportback so as of yet the order books have not even opened for the model I want:-(
hopefully the order will go through by the end of Nov for Mar/Apr delivery? It's a Sportback 1.6TDI S-Line with loads of extras (ill say hi later in the normal thread and list the spec)
have paid a deposit so it's as good as ordered, just gotta be patient.
Hope you get yours soon and look forward to hearing all about how the engine feels and acts.

I've order a 1.6tdi sport end of September. Expected delivery will probably be end of January

Vertigo1 and Spurrellian - I ordered mid August and I'm told it is due mid-December, which really means sometime next year!

As of yesterday they still don't have a build week. Jeez. Last Audi took 8 months from order to delivery, I wonder how long this one is going to take!
