    Hello everyone,

Here's another update from the tyre world.

For the launch of their new high performance tyre, the Korean manufacturer Hankook hasn’t made any compromises. Indeed, the Ventus S1 Evo K 107’s successor will be the original fitting tyre on the new BMW 3 series.

This collaboration with a luxury car manufacturer isn’t something new, as Hankook tyres have already equipped the 1 Series and Mini, right off the production line. The collaboration shows that Hankook displays all the qualities searched for by top of the range car manufacturers: fuel economy, comfort, handling, and safety.

Destined for the hatchback and sport saloon market, the Ventus S1 evo[SUP]2[/SUP]’s high performance characteristics are the result of:

    • Experience from the DTM championship, as Hankook is the official sponsor. This has helped towards the development of wear resistant shoulders.
    • Research and development. Hankook developed the new tyre in their European R&D centre in Langenhagen (near Hanover – Germany), in collaboration with BMW.

The 7[SUP]th[/SUP] largest tyre manufacturer in the world has decided to produce the Ventus S1 evo[SUP]2[/SUP] at its main site in Geumsan – South Korea.
