Halfords free brakes 4 life - anyone tried it?

    Hi, looking at their site and terms and conditions this seems ideal. Buy one set opf brakes for them, never buy any again, even if you change cars with different brakes on them...

    On the wife's 1.4 Clio, I'm happy for this at £80 they were cheaper than another garage, however just a little dubious to have them fitted to the Audi, as might not be up to the performance.

    Anyone done this so far?

    Err "Halfrauds" Good enough reason not to in my experience.

    read their terms and conditions, doesn't seem to be a catch, just have to remember to keep receipts and timings right.

    Will give them a call to find out what brand of pads they use, and whether you can upgrade them at all, as worth a shot if the price is right...
