Gave my car a good clean this weekend

Heres how it went

1. Washed using 2 bucket method, never do it this way before
2. Had to t-cut the bonet and rear bumper as the car hadn't been looked after.
3. Cleaned windows with rainx glass cleaner
4. Cleaned alloys with wonderwheels (had a problem will tell you later)
5. Autogym wax
6. Autogym super resin polish, left to dry for 30 mins

As stated had a problem with my alloys, I scrubed a little to hard and scratched the alloys, well peed off, used some grey t-cut on them and they came up better. Going to respray them this summer as they have lots of marks and scratches

Here are the results, taken with my phone so not brill.

you used these two in the wrong order mate... you need to polish before you wax...

still looks good though!

Considering what you had to work with, that's a fine effort. Would be best to stear clear of the Wonder Wheels in the long run though, as it eats wheels for breakfast, dinner and lunch. :)

Great finish but like AJO said polish before wax as wax is a sealant and should be the final coat.

I did my black a4 over the weekend and used the SRP followed by a coat of chemical guys 50/50 wax and that stuff is ****** awesome - highly recommended. You can pick a tub up from www.carwashnwax.co.uk

Sorry must of got the names mixed up I used the one it says 1st then the stuff to seal it.

another quick tip... the super resin shouldnt need to be left to dry.. you should work it into the paint untill it starts to dust off... then buff the dust off...

do a panel at a time... :)
