Haldex not working, what does this noise mean?

So my 4 wheel drive hasn't worked for over a week now... wow I miss it.

anyway I have error code 01324 which is the haldex I believe but it is making this noise from the rear diff ...



any help please anyone

Is there oil in it pal?
The pump sounds to be running dry or just plain ********

don't know to be honest, need to have it off and take a look.... job for my next few days I spose
