Haldex filter

Hi guys...

after some advice/info...

just had my 60K service, got a clean bill of health no real issues thankfully but they recommended getting the haldex filter changed as there was no record in the service history saying it had been done.

could someone tell me what this is?...when are u s'pos to change it?...and how much is it likely to cost?

this is an oil filter for the haldex 4x4 system on your car. the garage would change it and also the haldex systems oil. iirc it is supposed to be done every 20k. I recently had it done along with a 50k service and it was under 100 quid for the job. There are guides/info on here about how to diy but it looks like a pain in the backside.

every 20k for haldex oil, and 40k for haldex oil and filter
