Had me S3 de-catted

Hi folks,

just had the S3 de-catted feels much quicker, booked in at JBS on 4th of April for Stage 2 Chip and a few extra goodies can't wait should be running decent power!!!!!!!

Quick question tho emission light has'nt come on tho

Any ideas

Decat usually means de lambda'd which will bring up a fault.

Depends which engine you have. The early S3 didn't have the post-cat lambda sensor so you don't the engine warning light when you decat. I still have my old decat pipe lying in the garage, didn't really do much for me. I found no real gains between that, 200cell Milltek cats, and standard - just differences in noise.

Expect a fair amount of popping and banging between gear changes.

I get that from the A3 now with a 200 cel miltek cat in place!
